Rail passengers face delays and cancellations this morning as a points failure disrupts services through Colchester station.
The fault, which occurred in the rail yard at Colchester, has prevented some trains from entering service, causing cancellations and changes to services between Colchester Town and Ipswich.
Greater Anglia said the disruption has affected routes between London Liverpool Street and Ipswich.

A spokesman for Greater Anglia said: "We have a points failure in the yard at Colchester.
"This is stopping trains from entering service.
"This has causes some cancellations and alterations affecting Colchester Town and Ipswich services."
The operator has apologised to customers this morning.
Passengers are advised to check live updates through the Greater Anglia JourneyCheck website.
Advance ticket holders are permitted to travel on earlier or later trains if their booked service has been cancelled.
The company also reminded passengers delayed by 15 minutes or more that they may be entitled to compensation through the Delay Repay scheme.
Passengers are directed to the Greater Anglia website for more information on claiming compensation.
Full-size bicycles, e-scooters, and electric bikes are not permitted on rail replacement buses, the operator said.
