A 50p coin commemorating the UK's exit from the EU has been listed on eBay for 14,000 times its face value.
The coin, released in 2020 to mark Brexit, has been put up for sale by a seller in Brentwood, Essex, who is asking £7,086.70 for the piece.
The Royal Mint said: "This coin marks a significant moment in British history, celebrating the end of the UK’s 47-year membership in the EU."
The reverse side of the coin features the inscription: "Peace, prosperity and friendship with all nations."
The obverse shows the final coinage portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Jody Clark, alongside the year of issue.
This is the last in a long line of UK Fifty Pence coins released to celebrate constitutional milestones.
Despite the high asking price, the Royal Mint does not consider the coin to be rare, as around 10 million were released into circulation.

Although not scarce, the coin may still attract collectors willing to pay above face value for their collections.
