One lane has been closed on a key stretch of the A12 due to a broken down vehicle.
The incident happened on the southbound carriageway near Capel St Mary.
A spokesperson for Suffolk Police said: "Police are currently at the scene of a broken down vehicle on the A12 southbound near Capel St Mary.
"Police were called at 07.37am on Friday 11th September 2026.
"The A12 has one lane closed whilst waiting for recovery for the vehicle.
"Traffic is building up and causing some delays at present."

Traffic maps on The AA show queues stretching back from Capel St Mary towards the Copdock Roundabout.
Drivers are advised to allow for additional time if commuting through the area.
Suffolk Police said: "We will update everyone once the road has been cleared."
