A120 one lane closed after crash near Stansted Airport

Traffic is building on a key road near an Essex airport following a crash involving two lorries.

The incident took place on the A120 westbound, between the Stansted Airport turn-off and the B1256.

One lane has been closed, with the AA reporting delays of nine minutes both westbound and southbound.

These delays are said to be increasing.

The second lane has been closed after the central reservation sustained damage.

Contractors are at the scene to carry out repairs, according to National Highways.

Motorists travelling towards Stansted Airport are being advised to allow extra time.

Further details about the collision are unknown at this stage.

Emergency services have been contacted for comment.
