More than one hundred flights have now been cancelled at Stansted Airport following an air traffic control issue.
Data from FlightRadar24 shows 107 cancellations and 241 delays at the Essex airport, which, as of reporting, is the fifth most disrupted in the world.
The disruption began after Nats, which provides air traffic control services to 15 UK airports, reported a technical issue around 2.16pm.

In their latest statement, Stansted Airport said: "Due to the ongoing UK-wide NATS air traffic control issue, flight disruption will continue for the rest of the day.
"Before travelling to the airport, please check your flight status directly with your airline.
"Only travel to the airport if your airline has confirmed that your flight is operating.
"We'll share further updates when available.
"Thank you for your patience."
The issue has affected airports across the UK, including Southend.
Nats said the problem was linked to its "flight processing system" and confirmed that a fix had been implemented, but warned that recovery would take "some time."
In their latest statement, Nats said recovery from the issue was taking "longer than we hoped."

It meant that flights departing these airports may have been hit with delays or cancellations.
More than 400 flights nationwide as a result of the issue.
Passengers are being urged to check with airlines before travelling and to expect ongoing disruption.
Stansted Airport has advised travellers to stay updated via their airline’s channels and only arrive at the airport if their flight is confirmed to be operating.
