A councillor says residents have replied positively to the planned roadworks in Colchester.
Anglian Water has planned a number of works around Colchester in the coming weeks.
The company started with work on Hills Crescent, which will end on Wednesday.
On Thursday, September 17, they will be doing repairs on Bakers Lane, and from October 15, five days of work will take place on Wellesley Road and Creffield Road.
That is in addition to the already-confirmed overnight resurfacing works on London Road, which will start on September 21.
Surface repairs will also be carried out at The Commons and Church Lane, for five nights from October 19.
Councillor Sue Lissimore said: “The response from local residents is that they are pleased to see that the repairs are being made. Particularly London Road - it has been in need of resurfacing.
“The works are also weather-permitting, so I would urge locals to be aware of any updates. It is why I do my best to alert people through social media, because it is sometimes difficult to deliver leaflets at such short notice.”
An Anglian Water spokesperson also said: “We currently have a number of planned works taking place in the area, including a leak repair on Hills Crescent, manhole cover repairs on Bakers Lane, and maintenance work at the corner of Wellesley Road and Creffield Road.
“We'd like to thank our customers in Colchester for their patience while we carry out works which are essential to maintaining our network and continuing to provide water to our customers.”
