Petrol prices are on the rise once again in Essex, as drivers continue to feel the pinch.
Unleaded fuel reached its highest cost since 2022 at the beginning of August, according to reports.
The RAC reported average UK prices had reached 160.85p per litre for unleaded and 180.34p for diesel.
Since the beginning of August, Southend’s cheapest unleaded price has risen from 153.9p to 159.9p.
In Colchester, it increased from 159.9p to 161.9p.
