HUNDREDS flocked to Brightlingsea to take part in the annual food and drink festival.

Taking place on the promenade, dozens of local bespoke creators and sellers with artisan goods opened their stalls for Brightlingsea Food & Drink Festival.

Musicians and entertainers also kept the crowd happy throughout the day.

A spokesperson for the festival said: "Thanks to everyone who came and supported us and all our stalls.

"We were very nice and cosy in the main marquee until the rain stopped on Sunday."
