A fundraising group has donated £1,500 to three football foundations supporting communities across Essex and surrounding areas.
The Palmer & Partners 500 Club raised the money through a charity football match and raffle, with proceeds shared equally between Chelmsford City FC Foundation, Colchester United Community Foundation and Ipswich Town Foundation.
Each organisation will receive £500 to support projects benefiting local people.
A signed Stuart Pearce West Ham United shirt donated by Hope for Grace helped boost fundraising efforts, while Powerleague Colchester provided its facilities free of charge for the charity match.
The money will support a range of initiatives, including Chelmsford City FC Foundation's FooTEA programme, which combines football activities with nutritious meals for children during school holidays.

"We are incredibly grateful for everyone's generosity and support, as well as the businesses and organisations that helped make these fundraising events possible."
