Police are currently at the scene of a serious collision involving a motorbike in Clacton.
The incident happened on Hartley Brook Road, at the roundabout with Little Ravens Way, shortly after 4.15pm on Sunday, August 2.
An air ambulance landed close to Brook Retail Park in response to the incident.
A section of the A133 is closed in both directions, with traffic queuing between the St John’s Roundabout (B1027) and Britton Way.
A spokesperson for Essex Police said: "We’re on scene of a serious collision in Clacton.
"We were called to reports of a collision involving a motorbike in Hartley Brook Road, at the roundabout with Little Ravens Way, shortly after 4.15pm on Sunday (August 2).
"A road closure is in place while we respond to this incident.
