The only remaining Spitfire with a Rolls Royce Merlin 63 engine is expected to take to the skies in a popular Essex air show next month.
It will feature in a flying display at the Stow Maries Air Show at the Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome on Sunday, August 16.
The only one of its kind still flying that was originally painted in desert camouflage, and the only Spitfire flying in the world with a Rolls Royce Merlin 63 engine, it is expected to open the show.
The event, a key fundraiser for the registered charity, looks set to be a sell-out for the third year in a row and features a fantastic flying display.
Historic aircraft from different eras are also expected to appear.
These include a Fokker Dr.1 Triplane painted in the colours of the Red Baron and nine Tiger Moths flown by the Tiger Nine Display Team.
The Tiger Moths are 1930s-era aircraft used to train RAF pilots during the Second World War.
The Red Sparrows, a team of de Havilland Chipmunk planes, are also expected to perform.
The Chipmunk, first flown 80 years ago, replaced the Tiger Moth biplanes after the Second World War.

Visitors will be able to compare the performance of the two from the ground.
Crowd favourites the Turbulent Team will appear with their low-level flying display.
Their routine features flour-bombing, balloon-bursting and limbo-flying, all performed in D31 Turbulents.
These single-seat, open-cockpit aircraft were first built in 1953.
From the modern era, the Vans RV-8 will demonstrate its aerobatic abilities.
The RV-8 is a high-performance, two-seat, kit-built aircraft capable of reaching speeds up to 220mph.
A range of aviation-themed traders will be onsite offering artwork, models and books.
Visitors will also be able to explore the museum’s vintage aircraft hangars and exhibition galleries.
Interactive cockpits and pedal planes will be available for younger attendees.
Flightline Walks, available for an additional fee booked in person on the morning, give visitors the chance to get up close to some of the aircraft and discover more about what makes each one special, as well as take photographs at close range.
The air show is one of the charity’s main fundraising events of the year.
