AN Essex primary school has been highly commended for its creative approach to art education.
Holy Trinity School earned the recognition in the 2026 NSEAD Awards.
The awards formally recognise and celebrate exemplary individuals, schools and learning teams who have championed art, pushed boundaries, empowered change, and shown innovation within the sector.
Judges said: "Holy Trinity School distinguished itself within an exceptionally competitive field and demonstrated outstanding dedication, creativity, and achievement."
They also praised the school's focus on centring underrepresented young artists and linking art to social justice within a primary school context.
The school's Cultural Arts Week was praised for its commitment to celebrating diverse artists and using their work to inspire pupils' creative responses.
Miss Riches, arts lead at Holy Trinity, said: "We are very proud to receive this recognition from the NSEAD.
"Art is such an important part of our curriculum because it helps children develop creativity, curiosity and confidence, while also encouraging them to explore different cultures, perspectives and the wider world.
"This achievement reflects a real team effort across our school, and we are especially proud of our children, whose enthusiasm, engagement and imagination have shone through."
