Commuters are being warned of a road closure that could impact drivers getting in and out of Colchester.

Assington Road, in Newton, is scheduled to close between 4am and 9am on Friday, July 17.

The road connects Colchester to Sudbury.

Suffolk County Council is shutting the stretch to carry out road repairs.
