Incident - Essex fire crews have attended the scene of a reported vehicle fire on the A12 (Image: Newsquest)
Traffic is beginning to build on a major Essex route this morning due to a vehicle fire.
The incident is affecting the A12 southbound near Junction 24 for Kelvedon North and has caused delays stretching back towards Junction 25 for Marks Tey.
According to reports, a truck is on fire at the scene.
A fire engine from Essex County Fire & Rescue is on the scene.

Motorists are advised to plan ahead as traffic remains slow in the area.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
