Delays are mounting on a major road in Essex this morning after an obstruction began disrupting rush hour traffic.
The obstruction has been reported on the A12 southbound near junction 23 for Kelvedon south.
Traffic is queuing back towards Junction 25 for Marks Tey.

Congestion is also beginning to build on Braxted Park Road, as people look to avoid the A12.
Long queues are forming, and drivers are advised to plan ahead to avoid disrupting their journey.
It appears that the obstruction is due to Cadent gas works.
One lane has been closed to allow the works to take place.
