An ambulance carrying a patient was involved in a crash in Colchester yesterday.
The incident happened on Butt Road yesterday morning and involved a collision between one ambulance and another vehicle.
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "Earlier today, one of our ambulances was involved in a minor road traffic collision with another vehicle on Butt Road in Colchester.
"At the time of the incident, the ambulance was transporting a patient.
"The patient was reassessed and transferred to another ambulance and taken to hospital, with no injuries from the collision.

"One member of the crew sustained a minor injury and was taken for further assessment."
The ambulance was damaged, and a member of the ambulance crew was injured.
Essex Police were also at the scene, and have yet to comment on the incident.
