A key stretch of the A12 is facing delays this morning due to reported roadworks.
One lane is closed on the A12 northbound between Junction 31 for East Bergholt and Junction 30 for Capel St Mary for emergency repairs, with traffic queueing through the area.
Drivers are being advised to allow extra time for their journeys, as queues currently stretch back to Colchester, according to AA Traffic Maps.
Whilst the full details are not yet known, National Highways has been contacted for comment.
