A multi-vehicle crash has shut two lanes of the M11 near a major airport.
The closure is in place southbound between Newmarket and Stansted Airport, causing five miles of congestion and 45-minute delays.
All traffic was stopped initially and emergency services are on the scene.

There is also congestion due to onlookers on the opposite side for two miles.
AA reports severe delays southbound and an average speed of five mph.
