Services on a major Essex rail network are expected to face disruption until the end of the day following an earlier crash.
The crash at a level crossing between Colchester and Hythe forced the closure of some lines, causing disruption to Greater Anglia services.
The incident has affected routes between London Liverpool Street and Clacton, London Liverpool Street and Colchester Town, and Colchester and Colchester Town.
Trains on these routes have been cancelled, delayed, or revised, and Greater Anglia has issued an apology for the inconvenience.
A spokesperson said: "Greater Anglia and Network Rail are sorry if your journey has been affected by this disruption."
The crash has caused damage to railway infrastructure, including overhead wire equipment, which must now be replaced.

Services between Colchester and Clacton are not running as normal and are being diverted to Colchester Town instead.
Passengers are able to use local bus services between Colchester Town and Colchester to continue their journeys.
Greater Anglia is planning to operate a diesel-powered train service between Colchester and Colchester Town, which they estimate will be available from 1pm to 1.30pm.

Emergency services and Network Rail engineers remain at the scene.
Tickets are being accepted on First Essex bus routes 51, 87, and X20, as well as Konect bus routes 74, 76, and 77.
Advance purchase ticket holders are allowed to take earlier or later trains if their booked service is cancelled.
Passengers delayed by 15 minutes or more may be eligible for compensation under the company’s Delay Repay scheme.
