Drivers are facing severe delays on a major stretch of the A12 following a crash.

The incident took place on the A12 Southbound at the Junction 26 slip road for the A1124 Eight Ash Green / Tollgate Interchange.

The exit ramp has been partially blocked, and traffic has begun to queue back towards the Colchester United football stadium.

Delays are growing, and drivers are advised to allow for extra time if travelling through the area.
