Hunnaball Family Funeral Service acquires P G Oxley Funerals

With roots dating back to 1857, Oxleys has long provided funerals in the area through the generations.

The Hunnaball Group has a network of funeral homes in Essex and Suffolk, and was established in 1983 by Trevor and Melanie Hunnaball.

Now in its third generation, the group will retain the P G Oxley brand as part of its business.

He added: "The Oxley name is well-known in the area, and we will retain the P G Oxley brand as part of our family group.

"We are looking forward to introducing ourselves to the local communities, and offering our compassionate services to bereaved families."

Refurbishment of the branches is already under way, and they are recruiting for additional staff.

They are also planning several community events across the branches and to offer support to charities in the area.
