Essex Police are running a series of community events in Colchester over the next three weeks so residents can talk about to officers about crime in their areas.
‘Let’s Talk’ meetings will be held from 10.30am to 11.30am at Muffin Break in Red Lion Walk next Thursday, and from 11am to noon at Essex University’s Zest Café on the same date.
On Tuesday, March 3, a third event will be held from 10.30am until 11.30am in Greggs in Culver Street West.
The get-togethers allow residents to discuss policing in their area, ask questions, and understand what police are doing to keep people safe.
Members of the public can also get advice on how to protect themselves, their property, and prevent being a victim of crime.
