With a royal visit set to take place next week, there's a lot of information you need to know if you're thinking of attending the special event.
The Gazette reported yesterday on how King Charles III and Queen Camilla will visit the picturesque village of Dedham near Colchester on Thursday.
During the visit, the royal couple will meet community heroes and embark on a walkabout of the area.
It will mark their first return to the area since March 2023, when they visited Colchester to celebrate the city being granted official city status.
During their time in Dedham, the King and Queen will visit The Sun Inn pub where they will meet community heroes and businesses who have supported the village.
These include Next Chapter, a domestic abuse charity; Dedham Art Society, an arts group which supports East Anglia Children’s Hospice and partners with Munnings Museum; and the Dedham Vale Vineyard.

They will then meet members of the community and pupils of a nearby school as they walk along the High Street to Essex Rose Teahouse to enjoy a tea party.
We’ve complied everything you will need to know ahead of the event for travel and parking.
Parking in Dedham
Colchester Council has warned Dedham’s Mill Pond and Mill Lane car parks will close to cars looking to park at 2pm on Wednesday, February 4.
Any vehicle parked before 2pm will be able to exit the car parks throughout the afternoon.
From 7pm, no parking will be allowed in Dedham’s High Street, Royal Square, Brook Street, Mill Lane, and Southfields Road.
On Thursday, Mill Pond and Mill Lane car parks will remain closed to new entries.
High Street, Royal Square, Brook Street, Mill Lane, and Southfields Road will be closed between 8am until 3pm.
Parking Permit holders will be contacted with alternative parking arrangements.
Any vehicles that have been left on these roads once the parking restrictions come into force will be moved.
This applies to business and resident permit holders as well as all other vehicles.
Travel information
As there will be no available parking in Dedham, the council is encouraging people not to travel to the area by car on the day.
A free limited shuttle bus service will run from Colchester’s Park and Ride, just off the A12, from 8.30am until 10.30am.
The returning shuttle bus from Dedham to Colchester will operate from 12.30pm until 3.30pm.
Anyone planning to leave their car in the Park and Ride will still have to pay for parking.
Buses will be running as normal, but diversions may be in place due to the road closures.
