The largest and brightest supermoon this year is set to coincide with Bonfire Night and will be visible on the annual celebration.
The full Beaver Moonrises in the UK at around 3.55pm on November 5.
The spectacle will be best viewed around dusk from November 4 until November 6 but there could be a lot of cloud coverage which could restrict views.
The second of three consecutive supermoons of 2025 will coincide with Bonfire Night on Wednesday.
The November full moon is dubbed the ‘Beaver Moon’ because the named creatures are busy building their dams for winter under the light of the moon this time of year.
What makes this moon a supermoon?
The distance between the Moon and the Earth varies each year as the Moon's orbit is not a perfect circle.
When the Moon is closest to the Earth, and is full, it can be called a supermoon - as it looks bigger and brighter than usual.
Compared to other full moons, it can look up to 14 per cent bigger and 30 per cent brighter.
Not all astronomers agree on the definition of a supermoon.
Another way of describing it is when the Moon is within 360,000km of the centre of the Earth - and using this definition, this week's supermoon would not qualify as one.
