A SOCIAL media influencer from Colchester has been banned from driving and ordered to pay more than £1,000 after he was caught speeding on a dual carriageway.

Cole Anderson-James, who has 2.8million followers on TikTok and has featured in the TV series AfterLife, was caught speeding by police officers on the A14 in April this year while driving a Jaguar F-Type, court papers show.

He was charged with speeding and admitted the offence before Ipswich Magistrates’ Court.

Magistrates ordered Anderson-James, of Beche Road, Colchester, to serve an eight-month driving disqualification.

He was also fined £960 and ordered to pay £90 in costs, as well as a £384 surcharge.
