CLEARING is still open for students looking to secure a place at the University of Essex.
While many have already cemented their next steps, for those still deciding on where to go and what to do, Essex still has numerous university places on offer.
Those thinking of applying should bare in mind grade requirements could be lower and some courses may require subject specific requirements.
Chris Oldham, chief operating officer at the University of Essex said: “We’re still accepting applications through clearing, and we encourage anyone interested in studying with us to get in touch to talk through their options or come to our Colchester Open Day on Saturday 20 September.
“Our clearing lines are still open so please give us a call and speak to us if you are interested in studying at Essex, as we have places on a range of courses still available.
“We’ve seen an increase in applications from students from Essex and Suffolk this year showing an interest in the option of living and studying at a nearby university.
