Thirty-two gardens will be open to the public during Wivenhoe Open Gardens weekend on May 17 and 18.
The event, which began in 1987, will see gardens of all sizes open between 11am and 5pm, with several participating for the first time.
Programmes will cost £5 per person, and proceeds will be shared between local organisations.
The event is organised by St Mary’s Church and the Wivenhoe Society.
