A train going from Colchester to London has developed a fault after the emergency alarm was activated.
The 4.35pm train from Colchester Town to Liverpool Street developed a fault after the train's emergency alarm was activated at Kelvedon.
The driver is said to be in contact with Greater Anglia engineers who are working to fix the fault.
Due to the train fault at Kelvedon some lines are blocked.
Train services running through this station may be cancelled, delayed or revised and disruption is expected until further notice.
