Train users across the country were at risk of delays this morning after a communication system issue.

A communication system radio fault used between train drivers and signallers was affected this morning, seeing delays across the country.

The Gazette understands that some services may be delayed due to a nationwide fault with the communication system, which is used by train drivers and signallers.

A majority of services are currently running as timetabled, however customers should check before they travel.
