A popular café chain welcomed in its first guests as it opened its doors at its new Colchester location.
Honey & Harvey welcomed residents and visitors at an exclusive launch event ahead of the opening later this week.
The café, which took over the premises of Sip and Tuck opposite the entrance to Castle Park, offered a first taste of what is yet to come.
Managing director Aaron Skerritt said: “This past Saturday, our newly revamped café space held an exclusive soft launch for family, friends, and loyal supporters, offering a sneak peek of what’s to come.
“The morning buzzed with energy as park runners stopped by for takeaway coffees and cakes, setting the tone for a vibrant day ahead.
“Our fresh menu received great feedback, with some lucky guests invited to enjoy breakfast and brunch, creating a realistic atmosphere for staff to fine-tune operations.
“Some of the attendees were familiar faces from former Sip and Tuck, eager to embrace the new chapter of their favourite spot.”
Honey & Harvey has made a name for itself as a popular spot for coffee lovers across Suffolk over the years.
The brand opened three cafes between 2011 and 2020 before the launch in Colchester.
The event on Saturday left staff and bosses excited ahead of the official opening this week.
Mr Skerritt said: “The day concluded with a lively evening gathering that left everyone feeling excited about the official opening this Wednesday.
“Once open, we will welcome customers seven days a week, promising great food, a friendly atmosphere, and a new hub for the community to enjoy. Make sure to stop by and see us.”
Honey & Harvey officially opens on November 20, offering fresh coffee, breakfast and brunch all week round.
