A Colchester charity which helps families and individuals in need is hosting a glitzy black tie event to boost funds.
Colchester Foodbank will host its first Suit and Glitz Auction Gala on November 9 at the Marks Tey Hotel, London Road.
The gala will feature a variety of donated prizes, an all-night raffle and guests will have the chance to meet the foodbank’s employees, trustees, volunteers and learn more about the work it does.
There will also be a three-course meal and a disco.
A foodbank spokesman said: “The evening will kick off with a red carpet entrance and a complimentary glass of fizz, setting the stage for a night of sophistication and celebration.
“Guests will then be treated to a delicious three-course meal, while a professional photographer captures the memorable moments of the night.”
Tickets for the gala cost £75 per person.
Group of four or more, will receive a discounted rate of £65 per person.
