A man has been arrested in Colchester on suspicion of drug and firearm offences.
Police executed a warrant on North Station Road following concerns over the weekend about alleged antisocial behaviour and drug dealing in the area.
Officers recovered a quantity of controlled substances at the address and an item believed to be CS gas, according to Essex Police.
CS gas is prohibited under the 1968 Firearms Act.
Essex Police confirmed a 32-year-old man from Colchester has been arrested for the alleged possession of controlled drugs, being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and possession of a firearm.
