A man was found in London Road
Emergency services attended an incident at a cafe near Colchester which left a man in hospital.
Essex Police dispatched officers after receiving reports of an injured man who was found in London Road, Marks Tey at around 9.30am on Tuesday.
An ambulance was called to the scene and the emergency services remained outside the cafe while a cordon has been put in place around the scene.
The man was brought to hospital, where he remained for treatment.
