COLCHESTER United have signed Portsmouth striker Anthony Scully on a season-long loan deal.
The U's have snapped up the 25-year-old to boost their forward options, following the departure of Bradley Ihionvien to Peterborough United earlier today.
Scully started his career at West Ham United, where he progressed through the academy and signed his first professional deal in May, 2016.

He left the Hammers to join Lincoln City in February 2020 and made his professional EFL debut for them, going on to score 37ย goalsย in a two-year spell at Sincil Bank.
Scully left Lincoln to join Wigan Athletic and after a brief spell at the Latics, linked up withย Portsmouth in the summer of 2023 for an undisclosed fee.
Heย has made nine league and cup appearances for Pompey, so far.
He has represented theย Republic of Ireland at under-17, under-19ย and under-21ย level.
