COLCHESTER United youngster Oscar Thorn has joined National League South side Chelmsford City on loan until January.
The 20-year-old midfielder, who spent time on loan at Bath City last season. featured regularly for the U's in pre-season.
Thorn spent time as an academy player at both Arsenal and Norwich City before he joined Colchester n the 2023 January transfer window.
He is in line to make his Chelmsford debut in their National League South clash at Truro City tomorrow.

Chelmsford manager Robbie Simpson told the club's website: βWe have been an admirer of Oscar for a couple of years now and have had some great reports from the likes of Elliot Ward, who has coached him at Colchester since leaving us, and theyβve got really high hopes for him there.
"We saw him last season on loan at Bath and he had a really good impact.
"He is big, quick and direct, an old fashioned winger that works his socks off both with and without the ball.
