A RETRO clothing store in Colchester has given its shopfront a new lease of life for the first time in five years.
Best Days Vintage, in Eld Lane, which first opened in 2013, has been known for its bright red painted signage for the last five years.
Since opening their shop, the fashionistas have prided themselves on kitting out the city’s younger generation in a range of cool and unique garments.
However, the business, which is owned by friends and business partners, Steve Hurdle and Jez Dixon, have changed things up by painting “sage green”.
Best Days Vintage Co-founder, Steve, 44, has confirmed they like to change things up every few years.
He said: “We try to change our store front every five years
“For the first five, it was black, then it was a pillar box red.
“Now we have changed up for an earthy tone.
“It’s fun to give the store a fresh feel.
“We enjoy changing and improving what we offer to our customers.”
In December last year, the independent business celebrated its ten-year anniversary.
The ethos of the business is to support and work alongside other businesses.
During May’s Bank holiday weekend, Best Days Vintage teamed up with The Fat Cat Pub in Butt Road for a Caribbean themed event.
