A THIEF from Colchester who stole a PlayStation 5 and gaming keyboard has been ordered to pay the owner compensation and carry out unpaid work.
Daniel Muzumara stole the items as well as house keys and a bank card belonging to Ashley Tyson in Salford, Greater Manchester, last year.
The defendant, who is 34, appeared before magistrates in Chelmsford earlier this month to admit one charge of theft.
He was ordered to pay £469.99 in compensation and must carry out 80 hours of unpaid work.
Muzumara, of Estuary Close, Colchester, will also pay £85 in prosecution costs.
