A COLCHESTER café is bidding to store and sell alcohol to its punters a new application has revealed.
Caffe Sala, an independent coffee house in Eld Lane, has applied to Colchester Council for a premises licence.
If approved, this will allow the business to sell alcoholic beverages Sundays to Fridays from 11am to 11pm.
On Saturdays it would be able to sell booze from 11am to 12am, live music indoors would also be allowed from 11pm to midnight the same night.
All representations for the application must be made in writing to Colchester Council’s licensing authority team, licensing.team@colchester.gov.uk, by August 15.
