Colchester: Three Wise Monkeys to launch bottomless BBQ experience

Three Wise Monkeys, in High Street, Colchester, is launching its bottomless BBQ on August 14.

This will be a regular experience held on the second floor of Three Wise Monkeys, where paying customers will have 60 minutes to chow down on as much BBQ food as they like.

Within the hour time frame, which is available during restaurant hours, customers will be able to feature a wide selection of meats such as smoked brisket, pulled pork, BBQ ribs, and chicken wings.

Each meat dish will be accompanied by different sides, such as fries, mac and cheese, coleslaw, salad, or corn.

There will also be a range of dessert options to finish off the hour experience.

Once seated and ready, all you will have to do is flip your table card to green to begin, if you need a break or are full up, you’ll have to switch your card to red.

This experience was tried and tested in the Three Wise Monkeys in Ipswich.

It will cost £25 on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays per person.

On Fridays and Saturdays, the bottomless BBQ will cost £28 per person.

Children aged ten and under can dine for £14.

Charlie Rogers is the operations manager for Three Wise Monkeys, and he is delighted about launching the experience.

He said: “After the tremendous success of our launch of bottomless barbeque at our Three Wise Monkeys site in Ipswich we feel it is an excellent opportunity to roll out the concept in Colchester.

“The new concept is all about fun and great quality food and we have had a huge amount of positive feedback.

“We have used authentic American smokers since the launch of Three Wise Monkeys in Colchester almost ten years ago.”

“The opportunity to smoke briskets, chicken wings, sausages and pulled pork fresh for our customers every day means we will be able to give people the best tasting barbeque experience possible.

“As well as the classics that you would associate with this style of food it will also enable our chefs to develop a wider range of products for customers to enjoy.”

Bottomless BBQ will 6pm to 9pm on Wednesday and Thursdays, 6pm to 10pm on Fridays, 11am to 10pm on Saturdays, and 12pm to 9pm on Sundays.
