HOMES in two areas of Colchester will experience a power cut this morning following essential works being carried out.
UK power networks say two areas of the city will be affected by a planned power cut this morning.
Homes which come under the CO3 0 and CO6 3 postcodes will both be affected, with power due to go off at 11am.
It is expected to return by 12pm the same day.
A statement on the UK power networks website says: “We’re carrying out planned work in your area.
“We’re doing this work as it is essential to provide reliable electricity supplies to your area.
“We’re sorry for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience.”
