FOLLOWING sell-out performances off-Broadway and at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the comedic parody Six Chick Flicks is now touring the UK and Ireland - and it's stopping off in Colchester.
The show, conceived by KK Apple, TJ Dawe, and Kerry Ipema, who also penned the famed One Woman Sex And The City, will be on stage at the Mercury Theatre, on June 5.
Famed for its cheeky take of film genre, the production was a five-star success at last summer's Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
Kerry Ipema said: "Our show is about having FUN and it feels so good to share that collective joy. We’ve had friends, bachelorette parties (or I should say hen dos), birthday parties, mother/daughter pairs, and more come together. It just feels good to laugh together."
KK Apple added: "The films we parody are such feel-good watches for people, so it’s a wild mix of reactions, from nostalgia to knowing shrieks.
"I kind of love the husbands who approach us after the show and say their wife dragged them there, but they actually laughed the loudest."
