The Fleet Air Arm Museum will celebrate its 60th birthday with a host of events and exhibitions this May half-term.
It involves creating historical aircraft from bricks, experiencing a massive balloon Concorde, and participating in a fresh digital exhibition focusing on the museum's colourful history.
On May 27 and 28, the museum will collaborate with balloon artist, Mr David Croft.
Attendees will have the opportunity to observe a large balloon Concorde and even get their own balloon aircraft.
This is a free event that comes as part of a valid museum ticket.
From May 29 to 31, in partnership with Brick Ideas, visitors will have the chance to build their aircraft from bricks, inspired by Europe's most extensive display of naval aircraft.
Exploring the history of the Fleet Air Arm Museum will be possible via a unique digital exhibition from May 28 until September 1.
This will provide an in-depth exploration of the museum's collection through their Collections Explorer App.
David Morris, principal conservator of naval aircraft at the museum, will conduct an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour on June 6, showcasing the various conservation projects undertaken.
A £30 tour ticket includes same-day museum admission.
