A small number of motorway and A Road closures will affect Sussex traffic this weekend, according to National Highways England.

These will mainly be on the A27 in the early hours of the morning for maintenance work.

If you are set to be travelling along these areas, it's best to take note of different diversions that may be in place.

Here’s a list of all of the closures from Friday, April 19 to Sunday, April 21 on Sussex's main roads to be aware of.

M23, A23 and A27 road closures for Friday, April 19

M23

On the northbound and southbound way of the M23 at Junction 8, there will be a link road closure with Junction 7 on the M25 between 11pm and 6am.

On the A27 eastbound way, there will be a carriageway closure between Manor Road roundabout and Adur between 8pm and 6am.

This closure is taking place as part of the construction of a new roundabout.
