A LANE is closed on the A12 southbound causing lengthy delays for motorists.
Traffic control has reported that a lane on the A12 southbound between junction 26 and junction 25 is closed after a vehicle has broken down where the roadworks are taking place.
This was first reported around 5.35am this morning but motorists are still facing disruption from it.
One of the lanes is currently closed as a recovery vehicle is on route to the scene and congestion is building.
Traffic control has warned there is currently a 45-minute delay for vehicles looking to use this section of the A12 southbound.
It has now been confirmed that the lane was reopened around 8.11am.
