Staff and residents at a care home in Nayland got in the Easter spirit with an egg-citing celebration.
Nayland House staff arranged a festive day where residents crafted their own Easter baskets to hold sweet chocolate treats.
Decorations adorned the facility, and residents competed in egg and spoon races, marking a memorable day.
Emma Engutsamy, registered manager at Nayland House, explained the value of such events.
She said: "It’s always a pleasure to see our residents enjoying themselves and it’s important for their wellbeing.
"It was great to see everyone taking part in the Easter activities and their basket creations all look amazing."
Nayland House, part of AgeCare UK, prioritises residents' care and wellbeing.
Jo Mason, AgeCare UK director of care, expressed delight at the home’s events.
She said: "At Nayland House, we foster a family approach, focusing on enabling residents to live well.
"It’s wonderful to hear that they’ve enjoyed some exciting Easter celebrations, and thanks go to staff for arranging."
Nestled in the heart of Nayland village, the care home enjoys serene views of its picturesque surroundings.
In the purpose-built facility, the 54 en-suite rooms cater to a range of complex needs, with 23 specially designed for those with dementia.
