OFFICERS are continuing to appeal for witnesses after a man was seriously injured outside a village pub before an attempted murder investigation was launched.
Between March 29 and the early hours of March 30, a man involved in an incident outside The Bell Inn, in Feering, which left him in a life-threatening condition.
Essex Police has since arrested a 67-year-old man from Kelvedon on suspicion of attempted murder who has now been released on bail until May 23.
The force has now renewed its appeal for information.
A spokesman said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we need anyone who saw what happened to contact us.”
