Heavy traffic is building after a crash on a road between Colchester and Braintree.
The AA reported a traffic incident on the A120 at the Coggeshall Bypass earlier this morning.
The crash was first reported at 5.45am and was affecting both ways near the B1024 Colne Road.
Essex Police is attending the scene, as the incident is ongoing.
A police spokesman said: "We are on scene of a collision on the A120 near Coggeshall involving two vehicles.
"The incident is ongoing.
"If you have any information or dash cam footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us.
"Please quote incident 195 of 2 April."
