A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following an incident where a man was seriously injured outside a pub.
Essex Police has launched an investigation into how a man became seriously injured following an incident in Feering.
The man, in his 30s, is currently in hospital in a life-threatening condition.
Officers say it is believed he was injured during an incident outside The Bell Inn at some point on Good Friday.
A spokesman said: "We are working to establish the circumstances around how he came to be injured and, at this stage, believe he may have been in collision with a vehicle in the car park."
As part of the investigation, a 67-year-old man from Kelvedon has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and is currently in custody.
"Our enquiries are ongoing and we need anyone who saw what happened to contact us," the spokesman added.
"If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us."
