A man has been charged with several offences following the theft of a car.
Essex Police received a report of a stolen vehicle in the area around Catchpole Road on March 26 at around 4am.
Officers responded and were able to locate the vehicle one hour later on the A12, where it was brought to a stop at junction 19.
A man was arrested following the stopping of the car.
Warren Troughton, 32, of no fixed address, has now been charged with burglary, theft of a motor vehicle, driving while disqualified, driving without insurance and failing to provide a specimen.
