A COLCHESTER hair salon has scooped up another award by providing high-standard service and customer care.
ID Hairdressing in Priory Walk won its third Prestige Award for Hairdresser of the Year in this year’s South England category.
The salon, which opened six years ago, is run by Ian Duggan, who trained at world-renowned schools to master his craft.
The awards are based on customer feedback and work sent in by the salons, which will then be judged, alongside a mystery client visit, who assesses the overall experience.
ID Hairdressing has managed to win other awards in the past, including the 2023 Lux Life Award, the 2020 Salon Award and the Prestige Award in 2022 and 2021.
Owner Ian Duggan was delighted when he heard the news and said no matter how many awards his salon wins, they will always try to get better.
He said: “We always try to do our best, but it is lovely to see that our hard work does not go unrecognised.
“We are always looking to improve our services and our skills. You never stop learning because the industry always changes.
“The award means a lot to us and shows how important it is to keep going.”
